New to the station is the latest from Tokyo Rose, a band that really hit their stride in the early 2000s before an unexpected hiatus in 2007. Their history is rich with impressive highlights such as being featured on Vans Warp Tour compilations and having music featured on MTV’s “Road Rules” back in the day. They recently released a song (and music video) for “Better When,” which is now in rotation. It is an ethereal Rock track that certainly calls back to that early 2000s Alternative sound. The band also has some shows lined up in the New Jersey / Pennsylvania area over the next couple of months. Keep with the band’s events via their BandsinTown profile. The sub-title for “Better When” is “(Fibonacci x Pascal)” and I had to look that up because apparently math is not my strong suit despite me thinking it was.
