I’ve been a fan of the guitar-driven jangle of the Happy Somethings for a while now, so I was pleasantly surprised by the electro-pop danciness of their recent collaboration with Lost Signal. The artists refer to it as a “fragmentary college,” but I’d argue that it hangs together quite nicely. A little menacing at times both musically and lyrically, “Stairs from the Moon” has the feel of a dark fairy tale. Free on Bandcamp while supplies last!
