Pittsburgh Pop Punk band Main Street Detour has been added to rotation with their latest song “sleep when i’m dead.” While upbeat and energetic like you’d expect from a Pop Punk song, what makes this band’s sound great is an underlying element of somber chord structure and melancholic melody. Tastefully infused with Emo, which is some of my favorite kind of Alternative Music.

Keep up with the band and find more of their music on their Bandcamp page HERE.

Hear Main Street Detour and more during “New Arrivals,” “Punked,” and “Indie Anarchy” timeslots.

About “sleep when i’m dead” in the words of the band:

sleep when i’m dead is a song about embracing the nature of a small town upbringing, but in a nihilistic way.
