It’s your lucky day. That’s right, it may seem counterintuitive considering it’s Friday the 13th. However, Olivia Miceli has a new single out that just-so-happens to be called “Friday the 13th,” and it’s one of our New Arrivals on AMS Radio! In additon to various “New Arrivals” play times, you will also find it in rotation during “Bandcamping.” How fitting is it, on a day infamously associated with bad luck, to feature a song about heartbreak.

Olivia Miceli is an artist who has developed what you could call a signature sound for heartbreak style ballads. She’s of my favorite artists we spin on “Pop Rox” and “Alternative Facts.” We have a few of her tracks in rotation such as “Darling, He Doesn’t Care,” “Guys Like You,” and “The Chaos of Growing Up.” Highly recommended for aficionados of Dark Pop, Indie Pop, and Alt-Pop etc. She draws inspiration from artists such as Griff and Olivia Rodrigo.

EVERY Friday is a Bandcamp Friday on AMS Radio. Tune in today to hear Olivia Miceli and many other artists you can support and add to your Bandcamp collection. Happy Friday to you, and let’s go Bandcamping!

  1. I’m a big fan of Olivia Miceli, so it’s nice to see you showcasing her new song. Part of me feels bad about not doing so myself, but I’ve said ‘no’ to so many artists & bands asking me to review their music, and don’t want to reopen that can of worms.

    1. I totally get that! I don’t get nearly as many requests as you for Marc do, and it actually takes a lot out of me to try to find the right words, be concise, and at the same time convey my thoughts the right way. A lot of that is me, I’m somewhere on the spectrum of neurodivergance so I think I might struggle a little extra with those things than experienced writers like you guys where it might come more naturally.
