Polyvinyl (Newcastle, UK) are the newest Jukebox Heroes on AMS Radio! And I am admittedly a bit star struck by it. They sent over a couple submissions earlier this week, “Running From Home” and “Underground Girl” and it was instant fandom for me. They have elements of Alternative Rock, Post-Punk, Emo, Pop Punk … lots of things going on in their sound. I am going to take the opportunity to be bold here and say that if you were on the fence for whatever reason about starting a Jukebox collection, Polyvinyl is going to present a very strong case for you to take the plunge. It is THAT good. Check out their Jukebox catalog HERE.

The band’s music is emotive, melodic, and is no stranger to rocking out when called upon. If you happen to be in the Newcastle area I would highly recommend, borderline demand, checking out their official website and catching a show, they have some lined up over the next couple of months. We have their music in rotation on both The Mother Ship and Pirate Ship channels during “Alternative Facts,” “Indie Anarchy,” “New Arrivals,” and “Grunge Lives” show times. Here are the tracks currently in rotation as of the time of this post:

“Running From Home,” “Underground Girl,” “Blind,” “It’s Raining Somewhere,” “Modern Art People,” Nirvana Now,” and “Such a Quiet Man.”

Here’s the official lyric video for their latest single:
