A new arrival to AMS Radio is a song called, “Witness to Everything” by a band named Black Hats. It’s one of my favorite new songs of the year so far, and it reminds me a bit of The Clash and Billy Talent. The guitar work in particular catches my ear. Whether the upstrokes are well placed ping pong delays or just a really tight rhythm section, it moves the song along with a great energy. The song releases to streaming March 9th – but you can hear now during New Arrivals and Indie Anarchy run times on AMS Radio, and I highly recommend that you do! For fans of punk, post punk, and the aforementioned bands I was comparing the sound of it to, this is one for your collection. The band has a CD / Cassette release planned with this single, as well as a vinyl record planned for release later this year.
