One channel, two channels, Three! … ah ah ah … 3 channels now on AMS Radio! We’ve come a long way since piloting last November.

In a nutshell, all this means is wider access to more underground, independent music to explore while on the site. And to recap, here’s all the cool spaces to explore on amsradio.com as of right now …

• The Mother Ship: Our primary Live365 licensed station comprised of direct submissions and curated by us, with Jukebox songs mixed in
• The Pirate Ship: RRRRR matey! These is a Jukebox only channel, with some exclusives, and the best spot to spend those tokens and build that Jukebox Mixtape. You’ll also periodically hear featured episodes from our Podcast partners. (Login requried)

Listener Rewards Program

I really wish I had more details to provide for this one at this time, but I’m still dreaming up a lot of things! I’m just excited about the idea and want to put it out there in the universe. Meat and potatoes of it is that now in the “Account” tab – users will earn points and badges for engaging with with AMS Radio and obviously, for supporting indpendent artists via Jukebox. Those points and badges will result in all sorts of fun things like rewarding coffees, periodic cash prizes, gift cards, bonus tokens and stars. Listeners after certain amounts of time listened will unlock surveys to provide feedback and help curate the station…. the ideas keep coming. Right now we’re in the phase where points are accumulating and there will be more to come soon!
