Reno Metalcore rockers and Jukebox Heroes, CYANATE, dropped a new single and premiered a music video today for the song “Fade Away.” The video was produced by Mick Barnes of Gray Dog Productions who has worked with them on their previous music videos “Echo Chamber” and “Claustrophobic.” One thing distinct about this band is their video content, it’s very slick. Even the live performances the band puts out after releasing new music is very well produced. And the stage setup they bring with them when they come to town is nothing short of the epic-ness one would expect at a Metalcore show. Speaking of playing live, they are opening for Rivers of Nihil this month, so grab tickets now (HERE) if you’re in the area!

A follow up to last month’s “Claustrophobic,” “Fade Away” has the evil riffing, thick kick drums, and heavy sound that is to be expected on a CYANATE tune. However, what makes “Fade Away” stand out for me in comparison to their previous releases, are the infectiously melodic clean vocals in the hook of the song. We saw that they are willing and capable of going that direction in previous songs such as “Angel Throat,” but “Fade Away” just seems like they took it to a whole new level.

“Fade Away” is on AMS Radio Jukebox! Now playing during “New Arrivals,” and “Heavy Stuff” time slots. Add it to your collection today!
