Hello interwebs. I’m making a post about a new project we’ve been rolling out the past couple of months at AMS Radio. It’s called Jukebox. There’s a lot of things to it and more info to come, but most importanly upfront I want to declare: IT’S NOT LIVE YET … more to come soon.
I have to begin with that disclaimer because it’s in a “semi-live” state right now. You can sign up, create an account, and experience Jukebox to an extent – but don’t do that yet. We’re still working on bugs and configuring the backend for audio stuff. I’ll be putting a banner on the website directing any potential traffic to this post for updates. I’ll be posting more as we progress towards going live with it.
What is live? Well, the station! Tune in HERE (as well as from our Link Tree page as per usual). We did A LOT of work moving files and to make connecting to a new architecture as seamless as possible. There’s a new show schedule, and you can reference that at the bottom of the station’s page. You can also submit for radio play right from the website, which is nice. It will go into a queue that Marc and I review and put into rotation. If you accidentally click on the “Opt in to Jukebox” box, just simply hit the button “Continue without Jukebox” – this will remain the public page for radio station play moving forward. To reiterate, if you are wanting to submit for radio play, please submit HERE.
After such a turbulent year for the station at the beginning of 2025, it is such a breath of fresh air having this idea that was in concept at the beginning of 2024 be this close to launch. Almost thought it wouldn’t happen at one point. Since the “heavy lift” as of recently, the station’s engagement and numbers have also reflected that breath of new life, and I couldn’t be more appreciative of everyone who’s taken the time to tune in and support independent music. THANK you.
