I can’t say enough about Jesse Gimbel. I’ve seen him play live a few times in the Philadelphia area, and he produced the second single for my band DelCobras. The song, by the way, is called “Untied (She’s the One)” in case you want to check it out!
More recently, I got to share a stage with Jesse when we both played a show at the Colonial Playhouse in Aldan, Pennsylvania last week. The show as a completely DIY-affair, so I was running the sound board and got to watch Jesse and his band from the wings, stage left. Their arrangements were tight, and their harmonies were tighter.
At the show, Jesse mentioned that he’s working on an album, but for the time being, I wanted to share this video he made about five years ago. He did all of the animation himself, and I can only imagine how much time and effort it took.
