October is upon us! Someone make sure to remember to wake Green Day up! Did everyone that was going to get that, get it? Okay then, moving one. This month’s Top 10 has a bit of a Halloween vibe to it, and that probably comes as no surprise.

Where does one discover all these fantastic artists that grace the monthly Top 10 playlist, one might ask? Well, it is indeed a massive undertaking every month. There is so much good music out there and several communities of independent artists that lift each other up and make these songs visible. The Top 10 is intended to springboard that inertia. No real “rankings” per se, I am not charting or anything like that. In fact, you’ll find the order of songs in the playlist vary from streaming service to streaming service. The Tweetcore community, the NAS (New Artist Spotlight) community, and the Onlythehost community in and of themselves are incredible resources for discovering new and independent music. Just any one of those three communities alone makes paring down a list of 10 challenging every month. Icing on the cake, tracks are also sourced from artists that submit directly to AMS Radio via Daily Playlists.
